Our olive groves are located on two small locations, Ceglo and Šmartno, where they thrive perfectly.
The oldest olive trees are 20 years old. The olive tree was a neglected culture in Brda for 50 years. After the frost in 1929 the olive groves weren’t renewed until the 1980s. Mediterranean influence and the closeness of the Alps give the oil high quality. The love for the olive tree, given by the whole family, drives us forwards into planting more groves.

Specialty of the house:
Research shows that Brda olive oils have a higher content of antioxidants. Thus our olive oils are more spicy, bitter and have a scent of fresh grass, a fruity taste and also maintain their freshness longer.
What is special about our olive oil is the fact that besides traditional Brda varieties we also have many other varieties from different countries.
